This year’s workshop emphasizes the joy of giving, with projects designed to help kids create handmade gifts to share with family and friends. Featured crafts include Origami Christmas Trees, Wood Slice Snowmen, Jingle Bell Door Hangers, Gingerbread House Gift Bags, Pop-Up Tree Cards, and Rice Krispies Treat Reindeer.
Due to the popularity of this event and limited project supplies, both paid and scholarship registrations are required.
This year’s Signature Sponsor is James O’Donnell Funeral Home, with additional support from the General Mills Hometown Grantmaking Program, the Riedel Foundation, the Community Foundation of West Central Illinois & Northeast Missouri, and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency. Program scholarships are made possible through the generous contributions of the Jesse David Cox Memorial Fund and HAC Program Scholarship Fund donors.
