Subject: Weekend Weather Update
Dear Hannibal Folklife Festival Exhibitors and Guests,
We are monitoring the weather forecast for this weekend’s Hannibal Folklife Festival. We are optimistic and hoping for the best, but we also want to be proactive and keep everyone informed.
At this point, the forecast depends upon what source you use. We know how much work and preparation you put into this event, and we appreciate your flexibility as we navigate whatever Mother Nature has in store.
Here are rough estimates of rain probability for Hannibal, MO. It has improved in the last couple of days:
• Friday (Oct 17): Very low chance — mostly dry, no significant rain expected
• Saturday (Oct 18): Moderate chance — showers and thunderstorms are possible (most models show thunderstorms going south of Hannibal)
• Sunday (Oct 19): Low to negligible — mostly sunny and windy
