The Hannibal Concert Association kicks off its 2024-2025 concert season on October 4. HCA brings a variety of world-class performances to the Hannibal area and has been doing so since 1945. The upcoming season includes a wide variety of musical styles and acts with an a cappella ensemble, piano virtuoso, a handbell choir, USO style show, Beach Boys tribute band and an expertly polished brass ensemble.
Season, patron and single ticket sales may be purchased online at https://hannibal-concert-association.square.site and will also be available at the door (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) prior to the concerts. Single ticket sales are $25 for adults and $5 for students. Season passes are available for individuals for $65 and couple/parent(s) w/children for $125. Patron memberships are also available from $175-$1000 with those receiving multiple season passes at each level. HCA season ticket holders also benefit from free/discounted admission to performances of the Keokuk Concert Association and Quincy Civic Music Association.
Street Corner Symphony will kick off the 2024-2025 concert season at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 4 at the HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center. Street Corner Symphony is a Nashville-based, high energy male a cappella ensemble that was a runner-up on NBC’s Sing Off (2010). They move seamlessly between most styles of music, feeling at home in all of them—gospel to rock to pop—and appealing to a broad audience.
Jared Freiburg & The Vagabonds celebrate the golden era of American music featuring an electric lineup of Rock & Roll, Blues and Jazz hits from the 1950’s. From Elvis to Frank Sinatra! Enjoy their performance at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 28 at Calvary Baptist Church, 4605 W Ely Rd.
Performing in Hannibal for the first time, The Gateway Ringers will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 14 at the HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center. FCBB is a 30-piece brass and percussion ensemble from Kansas City. The Gateway Ringers is an auditioned choir comprised of handbell ringers from the St. Louis metropolitan area. Their mission is to inspire excellence in musicianship. Their repertoire mixes classical, popular and religious music.
The high-energy USO style show, Letters from Home, will start the 2025 portion of the concert season 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 31 at HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center. Letters from Home honors artists like Frank Sinatra, the Andrew Sisters and many others. High-energy singing and tap by founders Erinn Dearth and Dan Beckmann. Though no two shows are exactly the same, expect funny, historical and inspirational!
The second concert of the 2025 portion of the season is Sail On. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at HLGU Roland Fine Arts Center. Sail On plays the music of “America’s Band”, The Beach Boys. Performing all the group’s classic hits, plus some treasures from The Beach Boys’ brilliant extended catalog, Sail On faithfully recreates the timeless songs of surfing, cruising, dancing and dreaming.
Finishing out the 2024-2025 HCA season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3 is Alliance Brass, who will performance at Calvary Baptist Church, 4605 W Ely Rd. Alliance Brass has been acclaimed as “the perfect blend of virtuosity and vitality” (Chicago Brass Festival) and has emerged as one of the country’s most exciting ensembles. They will be performing music from stage and screen.
